While we wish we had exciting news to come home with from Cheyenne, Remmers was only able to pull off a Select Bitch placement on Saturday for no GCH points and BOS on Sunday for a single GCH point.  She showed awesome and I must continually remind myself that she is still just a baby and this is all practice for the big moment!

Once again, Remmers strikes gold (and purple).  Remmers went BOB on Saturday beating out 5 other specials, including several top 25 dogs!  This gives Rem an additional 5 points (and major) toward her grand.  Huge thank you to judge Nancy Schaffer Smith!

On Sunday, Rem goes Select again in extrememly stiff competition!

In Omaha, Nebraska, July 16 and 17, Remmers'  took Best of Breed both days under judges Francine Schwartz and Caroline Herbal.  This gives Remmers 10 more points, two more majors and one more special defeated towards her Grand Championship. 

Also on Saturday, Remmers made the herding group cut under judge Jacqueline Stacy.

Then, on Sunday, Remmers took Herding Group 4 under judge Francine Schwartz! 

All we can say is WOW!  At 13 months old, 10 times in the ring, and first time in the group ring, we can't even begin to express how proud we are of this girl!

In Remmers first weekend out as a special, June 18 and 19 at Purina, she went BOS both days gaining her two majors, 6 points, and 2 of her 3 specials defeated towards her grand championship. She defeated two nice specials bitches (including Savvy) and was defeated by two nice dog specials for the placements!

Remmers finishes her Championship at 1 year, 1 day old on June 5, 2011, in Longmont, Colorado!  In an unbelievable run for the finish, Remmers, in 4 shows (2 weekends) finishes with a 5 point major, a 4 point major, a crossed 4 point major and a crossed 3 point major!  All I have to say is WOW!  I certainly never expected her to finish that quickly!  Win pictures to come soon!
