Remmers is our second Champion, finished extremely quickly from the Owner/Handler AKC class. In a dead sprint to the finish, Remmers finished at just 1 year and 1 day old in 4 shows (2 weekends). She received a 5 point major and a 4 point major in Denver and then crossed a 4 point major and crossed a 3 point major in Longmont, Colorado for the unbeliveable finish! All I have to say is WOW!!!! I certainly never expected her to finish that quickly! A huge thank you to Frank Baylis and Stacy Einck-Paul for allowing this wonderful bitch to reside in Nebraska. Remmers is co-owned by myself and Frank and bred-by Frank and Caroline Woods.
Remmers continued her dead sprint by finishing her Grand Championship in 5 weekends out as special and at the tender age of 16 months! We can't wait to see what she will do at 2 and 3 years of age!
Remmers is a wonderful "non-border collie" border collie. She has a very "peaceful", low-key personality, but will "turn on" when necessary. She would much rather be a couch potato than be in crazy border collie mode! Remmers has quickly become one of Kevin's favorite dogs, because she will lay nicely in the chair with him and nap while he is napping!
Remmers, in April 2012, completed her Bronze Grand Chapionship. It was an extremely tough road, as anybody who has ever successfully specialed Bitches, knows. Remmers has keen herding instinct and we hope to have her hit the herding trail sometime soon! She has a very quite, graceful, fluid movement, with excellent extension.
Remmers produced her first litter in Spring, 2013. Of the 5 pups, three went on to be Champions, two Grand Champions, and one of the Grands is a multi-group placer and the other won the Best Bred By Sweeps competition at the 2015 BCSA National. They all have her endearing personality. We plan to breed her again and are excited to see what we get this time!
UPDATE: Remmer's has been bred to Wrapper for puppies due around November 1. For more information, contact me. Litter information here.
