Savvy is our first Champion, finished very easily from the Owner/Handler AKC class. In exactly one year from the first time she entered the ring with me, she finished her Championship and Grand Championship, all owner handed, with limited showing. A huge thank you to Ronni DeLay of Majestic Border Collies, for allowing this great girl into my life.
Savvy has extreme desire to please. She is always "up" and rarely has a bad day. She has the sweetest personality and is the first to bring a smile to your face. She is high drive, but with an off button. She was herding tested in the Spring of 2010 and showed excellent stock ability and keen alertness to the stock.
Savvy took some time off in 2011 to be a mother. Now that she is rested, refreshed and matured some, she will be presented occassionally in 2012 as a Special working towards her Bronze Grand Championship. Three of her puppies are in show homes, with two of them coming home with points in their ring debuts at six months old, and our pick, Flash, is finished. The third made her ring debut at 10 months old and came home with a 3 point major!
